Associate Creative Director with experience in Print, Web, TV, Social Media, Event and In-Store promotions. Throughout my career, I’ve worked for major brands such as Frito-Lay, Pampers, Jack Daniel’s and Kellogg’s. I bring insightful brand awareness to my work and relish the challenge of creative problem solving. For the past 3 years I have provided strategy, vision and execution for a wide range nonfiction books in food, kids, and self-help categories while using data and lean economics to deliver high-quality products. It’s been an exciting opportunity to be a part of a tech startup that has become a major disruptor in the publishing industry.
Latvian born but have lived half of my life in the United States. Currently spending my time between San Francisco and Dallas.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Expert knowledge in Macintosh platform, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
11 years of an agency experience & working with high-visibility brands
3 year in-house, tech startup experience
Expert at art direction and supervision of photography (food photography especially), illustration, and design
Execute shoots from start to finish, including hiring and managing outside creative resources (photographers, directors, stylists, producers, set design, etc.) and attending/overseeing shoots to ensure stylist and photographer capture the look
Book publishing
Create, lead, and drive shopper marketing programs for high-profile clients, from concept development to design and execution
Deep understanding and experience in graphic design, typography, video concepting, UX/UI, digital technology and print design standards
Translates insights into creative strategy
Proven ability to execute visionary design strategies on an ecommerce platform
Strong ability to lead and provide constructive feedback to a team of art directors and copywriters
